Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - MD

A teletherapy position for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is available to support students in school settings within the Hyattsville, MD area. This full-time contract role offers a unique opportunity to provide virtual speech therapy services across a range of age groups, including elementary and middle school students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver teletherapy speech-language services in alignment with individual student IEPs.
• Manage caseloads varying from 40 to 57 students, tailored to experience and comfort level.
• Collaborate with supervisors to determine appropriate student assignments based on skill set and location.
• Maintain compliance with state licensure and district policies pertaining to telepractice.
• Utilize technology and virtual platforms to effectively conduct remote therapy sessions.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active and valid Maryland SLP licensure.
• Minimum of three years of virtual school-based speech therapy experience, with at least two years within the past five years post-COVID.
• Ability to work 35 hours per week, strictly full time.
• Residence within the Eastern Standard Time zone is required.
• Experience working with diverse student populations in virtual settings is highly preferred.
