Step into a dynamic school-based Occupational Therapist role in the North Denver area, making a meaningful difference for students from preschool through high school. Two positions available: one full-time and one at 0.8 FTE, both as onsite engagements designed to offer support across two schools. The assignment begins with a required Summer Symposium New Hire Orientation from July 27-31, 2026, followed by the school year starting August 3, 2026, and concluding May 21, 2027.

What You'll Bring:

  • Active Colorado Occupational Therapy license and CO DOE license
  • Valid DORA certification
  • Experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred
  • Ability to adapt to preschool through high school caseloads
  • Flexibility and teamwork within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect occupational therapy services aligned with IEP goals
  • Assess, plan, and implement interventions for a caseload typically ranging from 40-60 students, balanced for workload equity
  • Provide support for students in both general and specialized education programs
  • Maintain timely and thorough documentation and progress monitoring
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families
  • Attend the Summer Symposium orientation to prepare for a successful academic year
  • Fulfill all job functions onsite as assigned
