Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. This role offers a chance to make a significant impact across two school sites, working within a public charter environment dedicated to inclusive, student-centered instruction.
Youll collaborate with fellow educators and administrators to deliver high-quality therapy services, with administrative and indirect time, including paid team meetings, built into your schedule. The position accommodates both full-time and part-time schedules (.5 FTE or 1.0 FTE), making it suitable for experienced OTs seeking flexibility or a new professional challenge.
What Youll Need:
- Current and active California Occupational Therapist license
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy
- Ability to support diverse caseloads in both group and individual settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
- Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in school routines
- Willingness to travel between two nearby school locations
- Comfort with virtual interviews (Zoom)
What Youll Do:
- Evaluate and develop individualized occupational therapy plans for students
- Implement therapy services aligned with each students IEP
- Consult with teachers and staff to support classroom engagement
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaborations
- Access to training and team support as you begin onboarding
