School Speech Language Pathologist - Mckinney, TX

A fantastic opportunity awaits school-based Speech-Language Pathologists who are eager to work on a contract basis in a rewarding educational setting. This position is tailored for SLPs with CCC certification and experience supporting student communication needs in academic environments. Interviews are currently underway to fill these roles for the upcoming school year, with placements anticipated at the elementary and high school levels between August 4, 2026, and May 21, 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience working in schools or with school-aged children preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
• Passion for helping diverse student populations achieve success

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and communications
• Participate in IEP meetings, staff development, and ongoing training
• Provide direct therapy services and support classroom integration as needed throughout the contract term
