Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist in a dynamic school environment near Bremerton, WA. This role is an onsite, itinerant position focused on supporting students across all grade levels, making a significant impact through direct intervention and collaborative teamwork. Youll provide core school-based SLP services, working in alignment with student in-person days for 37.5 hours per week. Multiple positions are available, and travel between sites is part of the roletravel time is covered, and specifics about mileage can be discussed further.
Qualifications:
- Active WA State Dept of Health SLP License required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- WA State SLP ESA required
- Experience in school-based settings is strongly preferred
- Comfort with evaluations, documentation, and IEP development
- Knowledge of pediatric speech-language needs, teletherapy practices, and CFY support are all beneficial
- Strong adaptability and ability to manage a varied caseload
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language services for students across multiple sites
- Conduct assessments, create documentation, and contribute to IEP development and implementation
- Provide case management, collaborate in meetings, and serve as a vital team member within the school community
- Embrace itinerant responsibilities with professionalism and attention to individualized student needs
