This itinerant position offers a chance to deliver hands-on impact, moving between sites to address the diverse needs of multiple school communities. As a valued SLP, youll engage in comprehensive school-based therapy, including evaluations, direct therapy, documentation, IEP development, case management, and collaborative participation in meetings and team efforts. Whether youre experienced or working toward your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), your dedication to pediatric and school-based populations will be highly valued. Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred and will set you up for success in this dynamic role.
Qualifications:
- Valid WA State Department of Health Speech Language Pathologist License
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- WA State SLP Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate
- Experience in schools or with pediatric caseloads (preferred)
- Comfortable with itinerant roles and supporting multiple locations
- Ability to provide in-person services and attend to all documentation and compliance requirements
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct SLP services to students in accordance with IEPs
- Conduct evaluations and assessments
- Maintain comprehensive records and timely documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, attend meetings, and participate in case management
- Travel between school sites as assigned (travel time compensated, mileage clarification available upon request)
