This contract opportunity offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, serving a diverse caseload district wide and collaborating with dedicated educators to foster student success. Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid Washington State Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience or knowledge in school-based OT, healthcare, home health, and teletherapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with school staff, students, and families
  • Comfortable adapting therapeutic strategies to meet the needs of a wide-ranging student population
  • High level of organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Dedication to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments for all students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide OT services to students across the district, including screening, assessment, treatment planning, and intervention
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student development
  • Develop and implement IEP goals and document student progress effectively
  • Conduct therapy in a variety of settings: on campus, at home, or via teletherapy as needed
  • Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning for student success
