School Occupational Therapist - Glendale, California

What you'll need to succeed in this role:

• Active California Occupational Therapy license
• Experience in school-based OT settings, with additional skills in home health, healthcare, and teletherapy preferred
• Ability to assess and address the unique needs of young learners, especially in Pre-K and elementary settings
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• A commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and contributing positively to student outcomes

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative therapy services for Pre-K and elementary students
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
• Deliver services both on-site and through teletherapy platforms as appropriate
• Educate and support teachers, staff, and families regarding students unique OT needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and maintain regular communication with the educational team
• Ensure accurate, timely documentation of all therapy activities and progress
