Speech Language Pathologist in Von Ormy, TX

Make a difference in the lives of middle school students in the San Antonio, TX area for the 2026-2027 school year! Two contract positions are available for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists who hold their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and are ready to provide dedicated support in an engaging school environment. This is a full-time role at 37.5 hours per week, perfect for those who are committed to student success and looking to advance their career in a supportive educational setting.

What youll need to bring:

• Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Prior experience or training in a school or pediatric setting, particularly at the middle school level, is strongly preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families
• Dedication to helping students access their curriculum through direct and consultative services

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to identify students speech and language needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide both individual and group therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and staff to support student success within the curriculum
• Engage regularly with parents and caregivers to update them on progress and provide strategies for continued growth at home
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines
