A dynamic school system near Leander, TX, is searching for a School Psychologist or Diagnostician to join their team for a full-time, onsite contract for the upcoming school year. This position runs from July 29, 2026, through May 21, 2027, offering an opportunity to engage in meaningful work while collaborating with educators and families.

As a vital part of the school community, youll be responsible for conducting initial evaluations, re-evaluations, andif serving as a school psychologistproviding counseling. Youll ensure that students unique needs are identified and met, contributing to a supportive and equitable learning environment.

What were seeking:

• Current Texas certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or Educational Diagnostician (required)
• Experience conducting comprehensive evaluations in a school setting
• Knowledge of special education regulations, procedures, and best practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to work full-time, onsite, Monday through Friday (32 hours per week)

Key responsibilities include:

• Conducting initial psychoeducational and diagnostic assessments
• Leading and participating in ARD/IEP meetings to support student services
• Providing direct counseling for students (school psychologists only)
• Collaborating with educators and families to develop and implement evidence-based interventions
• Maintaining detailed and confidential documentation

This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate based on your certification: School Psychologists at $92/hr and Diagnosticians at $87/hr.
