Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid and active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting strongly preferred
- Experience supporting high school students is a plus
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students in 11th and 12th grades
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) goals
- Deliver both direct and indirect therapy services
- Create and maintain up-to-date, accurate clinical documentation
- Collaborate regularly with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families to ensure students needs are met
- Provide consultation and resources to support a positive educational experience for each student
