Qualifications & Skills:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a school psychologist
- Familiarity with evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies
- Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, parents, and students
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to identify students strengths and needs
- Consult with educational staff and families regarding interventions, accommodations, and behavioral strategies
- Design and implement individual and group counseling sessions to address academic and social-emotional challenges
- Participate in development of individualized education plans (IEPs) and 504 plans
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
- Maintain accurate records and support compliance with state and federal guidelines
