Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license (required)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Prior experience in a school-based setting, especially with high school students, is advantageous
• Demonstrated capability to perform comprehensive speech and language evaluations
• Skilled in developing IEP goals and monitoring progress
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide onsite direct and indirect speech-language therapy to high school juniors and seniors
• Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students, delivering services as outlined in IEPs
• Conduct speech and language assessments, write evaluation reports, and collaborate on IEP development
• Work closely with special education staff, teachers, administrators, and families to support students educational outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and progress notes in accordance with school policy and state regulations
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute professional insights for student success
