Long Term Substitute: School Nurse

The Mission of Pembroke Public Schools is to ensure student achievement through excellence in teaching and learning. Pembroke Public School Nurses coordinate the health and safety needs of all students to reduce health barriers and promote effective learning.RESPONSIBILITIES:Health services provided within the Comprehensive School Health Program include but not limited to:Maintain students individual health records Monitor compliance with State Immunization regulationsAssessment and treatment of injury and illness with appropriate counseling and referralsCase management of students with diabetes, asthma and other health concerns through the implementation of Individual Health Care PlansAdministration of daily medications and treatments in accordance with physicians ordersConduct required, grade-appropriate, health screenings including hearing, vision, height, weight, BMI and postural screeningsCoordinate optimal level of wellness through health education and promotion of healthy lifestyle choices TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT: ASAP - JUNE 22, 2026
