The Pike County Board of Education is accepting applications for an Assistant Principal at Goshen High School. The Board seeks an experienced administrator with demonstrated success at the high school level to serve as an assistant principal at Goshen High School in Goshen, Alabama. Goshen High School is a rural school with an enrollment of approximately 430 students and a faculty and staff of approximately 45. Goshen, Alabama is located in Southeast Alabama approximatley 45 miles southeast of Montgomery, Alabama.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have a minimum of a Master's Degree in School Administration or related field. Education Specialist or Doctorate preferred.

Alabama Class A Certificate or above in School Administration.

Three years of successful administrative experience at the high school level preferred.

Knowledge/skills in: oral and written communication, collaboration, assessment/measure/evaluations, organization, planning, law & policy, problem solving, innovation, technology utilization & management, school operations/management, professional responsibilities, leadership of human resources, public relations and building community support.

SALARY:

Salary will be according to the appropriate step and rank on the approved administrative salary schedule.
