CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFY) are both welcome to apply. SLPAs will not be considered for these roles. Position Details Start Date: August 2026 (exact date TBD with district) End Date: June 2027 Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (8-hour days); strong part-time candidates will be considered Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $52.00 / hour, based on experience Caseload: ~40 students Assignment Type: Varies by position; some roles may be itinerant across multiple campuses Student Population: Pre-K through 12th grade Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students Pre-K-12 Manage a caseload of approximately 40 students across assigned school(s) Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP teams Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Travel between sites as needed for itinerant assignments Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active Virginia SLP License (or eligible to obtain prior to start) Virginia Department of Education Teaching Credential or eligible to obtain CCC-SLP or CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) eligible Previous school-based experience preferred but not required Training & Onboarding The district offers structured onboarding.
