Qualifications and Experience: Current North Carolina Physical Therapist license (required) Experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) Familiarity with IEPs, LMNs, and progress monitoring procedures Key Responsibilities: Provide direct physical therapy treatment services to students Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including standardized assessments Develop, implement, and document individualized education program (IEP) goals Write Letters of Medical Necessity (LMNs) as needed for student services Regularly monitor and document student progress toward therapy goals Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to optimize student outcomes Supervise and support PTAs as part of the therapy team Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and legal requirements Schedule and Commitment: Full-time, 35 hours per week Typical schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-3:30 PM Contract position for the full 2026-2027 school year This role is ideal for professionals dedicated to student growth and multidisciplinary collaboration.
