ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Quaboag Regional Middle High SchoolReports to:Middle High School PrincipalPrimary Function:To assume administrative responsibilities for leading and managing the operation of The Office of the Assistant Principal at QRMHS Funded by:District BudgetQualifications:oMust hold appropriate Massachusetts Licensure for Principal/Assistant Principal; (5-8 or/and 9-12)oA minimum of 5 years as a successful teacher preferredoExperience developing a master scheduleoEffective disciplinarianoEffective oral and written communication skills;oExperience in supervision and evaluationResponsibilities:oOversees student discipline, maintain accurate records of referrals and consequences as well as monitor state reportingoMonitors student attendance, oversees implementation of student attendance policy, and leads the Attendance Review CommitteeoSupervises and evaluate staff using the MA Educator Evaluation SystemoCollaborates with guidance in design of the student schedule and drop-out prevention strategiesoWorks effectively with students, staff, colleagues and administratorsoDevelops teacher duty schedulesoAssists the principal in leading the school and manages building in the absence of the principaloDevelops and maintains student and faculty handbooksoAttends meetings and supervises events outside of school as necessaryoBuild, maintain and continue to foster relationships with all stakeholdersoCommunicates information regarding QRMHS events to faculty, students and community membersSalary:Salary and benefits negotiable with the Superintendent Closing date for applications: June 15, 2026Start Date: July 1, 2026Apply to:Send cover letter, resume, license, transcripts and three references to:Stephen Duff, Superintendent of SchoolsQuaboag Regional School District284 Old West Brookfield Road/PO Box 1538Warren, MA 01083Quaboag Regional School District insures equal employment and educational opportunities for its employees and students.
