Physical Therapist - School Setting in Saint Charles, MO

Make an impact this summer as a dedicated physical therapist supporting K-12 students during Extended School Year services. This opportunity involves working at a welcoming elementary setting near Saint Charles, MO, with focused hours that support work-life balance. The primary schedule runs Mondays through Thursdays, June 29-July 1, July 6-9, July 13-16, and July 20-23, with an initial orientation day on June 25. Daily work hours are 7:45 am to 12:31 pm, supporting students from 8:00 am to 12:16 pm. The caseload averages around 7 students and typically requires approximately 175 minutes of therapy weekly.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license in the state.
• Experience supporting pediatric or school-aged populations, preferably in educational environments.
• Adaptability to support diverse learning and physical needs across grades K-12.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Commitment to maintaining accurate student records and assisting with therapy room organization at assignment end.

Your Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted PT interventions that align with students IEP goals.
• Document therapy provided and progress made.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to optimize student outcomes.
• Participate in final record-keeping and packing tasks on last assignment days.
