School Counselor

School Counselor (PreKGrade 8)The School Counselor serves as an integral member of The Saints Academy community, supporting the academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth of students in PreK through Grade 8. Job Requirements
RequiredMaster's Degree in School Counseling, School Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related field.Appropriate Massachusetts licensure/certification or eligibility for licensure as a School Counselor.Knowledge of social-emotional learning, child development, behavioral interventions, and crisis response practices.Experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged children.Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.PreferredPrevious experience in a Catholic school setting.Experience implementing comprehensive school counseling programs.Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and student intervention processes.Experience facilitating small groups and providing classroom guidance lessons.Practicing Catholic or willingness to actively support the Catholic mission and values of the school.Reports To
