This Speech-Language Pathologist role offers a balanced 35-hour workweek, Monday through Friday, and the chance to make a meaningful difference for a caseload of about 40 young learners near Heyworth, IL.

Your expertise will help students develop foundational communication skills at a crucial stage, all while collaborating with a supportive school community. Whether youre completing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or hold your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC), your knowledge and compassion will be invaluable in this setting.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license
  • Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • Eligibility as a CFY or CCC-SLP
  • School-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Passion for working with PreK and kindergarten students

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in PreK and kindergarten
  • Conduct assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
