School-Based Physical Therapist - Salem, OR

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a physical therapist in a dynamic school environment. Beginning September 8, 2026, and concluding December 18, 2026, this full-time assignment (37.5 hours per week) offers the chance to make a meaningful impact for students in need of dedicated mat leave coverage. This is an onsite-only position, working across multiple sites in an itinerant capacityproviding hands-on expertise and building strong relationships with students and staff alike.

Ideal candidates will bring a passion for pediatric care, adaptability to diverse school settings, and a collaborative spirit.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active physical therapist (PT) certification/license in Oregon
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school-based or similar pediatric setting
• Proven ability to manage a caseload across multiple sites
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working solely onsite (virtual services not offered in this role)
• Three most recent supervisor references required for consideration

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to K-12 students according to IEP/504 plans
• Travel between assigned school sites to support students and staff
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to assess student needs and monitor progress
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in team meetings
• Support the development and implementation of student-centered therapeutic interventions
• Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and environments as an itinerant team member
