Key Qualifications: Active North Carolina Physical Therapist (PT) license required Prior experience working in schools or pediatric settings highly valued Strong knowledge of providing PT services within an educational framework Proficiency in creating and monitoring Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Experience with Lead Medical Necessity (LMNs) documentation and progress monitoring Aptitude for effective PTA (Physical Therapist Assistant) supervision Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered care Core Responsibilities: Deliver individualized physical therapy services to help students achieve their motor and functional goals Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine students' needs Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and update plans Complete documentation, progress reports, LMNs, and IEP paperwork in a timely manner Supervise and provide guidance to PTAs to ensure high-quality, consistent care Communicate treatment goals and progress effectively with educators, staff, and families Maintain compliance with all state and district regulations Enjoy a consistent weekday schedule of 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, working 35 hours per week.
