Key Qualifications:

  • Active WA State Dept of Health SLP License required
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • WA State SLP ESA credential necessary
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred
  • Comfort in an itinerant role with potential travel between sites
  • Strong skills in evaluation, documentation, IEP development, and team collaboration

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students onsite during in-person school days (37.5 hours per week, aligning with school hours)
  • Manage a diverse, multi-age caseload in an itinerant role, with travel time compensated and potential for mileage reimbursement
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, provide timely documentation, and develop effective IEPs in collaboration with educators and families
  • Participate actively in case management, team meetings, and serve as a valued member of the school's support network
